About
Mia del Giudice is an African-American, New York City-based actress. A Jacksonville, FL native, she received her doctoral degree in physical therapy from NYU before switching to a career in acting in 2020. With no financial access to theater education, Mia is proudly self-taught, reading technique text and rehearsing scenes and monologues at home, while working her way onto sets through background work. She booked her first speaking role within 6 months of entering the business.
Mia's grounded style of performing has seen her book multiple lead and supporting roles in films that focus more on psychological realism (her most recent independent film credits include The Bee, The Cost of Living, and Love Shines Brightest in the Dark, which are all expected to hit the festival circuit this fall). She is an enthusiast of both comedy and drama, with a core drive to tell stories depicting black woman and the full spectrum of their humanity.
Most recently, Mia made her stage debut portraying Maria in Albert Camus's The Misunderstanding , completing a run of shows through September and October at New York City's Studio 17. She is currently in rehearsals to star in A Mother's Heart, set to open at the HB Playwrights Theater at the end of October.
Mia is represented theatrically by FSE Talent Agency, represented commercially by BBR Talent Agency, and managed by Adriane Lenox of LenZach Management.
